2021 #PlanYourPathWA Student Video Contest

What are your education and career dreams, and how are you going to get there?

Meet the 2021 Winners!

Thank you to all the creative, talented, and hard-working students from across the state who entered the 2021 #PlanYourPathWA Student Video Contest. This was the sixth year Ready Washington has organized a student video contest, and as always, it was difficult to choose just five videos among all of the outstanding entries.

The goal of this contest is to elevate students’ voices and motivate all students to think about their futures and consider the people and resources that are available to help. This year’s winners plan to pursue careers in computer science, visual arts, film, government, and law – and they are all taking steps today to reach their goals.

Congratulations to these five students who will each receive a $500 scholarship!

1. Claire Yang, Senior, Tesla STEM High School (Redmond)

2. Jean Lin, Sophomore, Union High School (Camas)

3. Isaiah Dziko, Senior, Vashon Island High School

4. Lanah Duque, Senior, South Kitsap High School

5. Lina McRoberts, Sophomore, Ballard High School
